Description
Apart from visiting the manor complex and the park, it is also possible to view the manor owner’s private bell collection, which consists of more than 1000 bells from all over the world.Famous persons: Louis XVIII, the King of France, stayed in the manor for several times. Ernst Johann Bienemann, one of the first Latvian engineers, was born here – he is one of the Latvian technical intellectuals. Also, the world-famous countertenor Sergejs Jēgers spent his childhood in the manor.
