Using the battlements of an old vassal-castle a one-storeyed main building with a central medieval chimney was built in 17-18th century. The building was given most of it's present simple-looking classicistic appearance on the beginning of the 19th century.
The mansion, carriage house, granary, garden pavilion (currently the Stone House) and cattle barn (currently Vilsandi NP Visitor Centre) can be seen in Loona manor. A pleasant park is attached to the complex, which used to have park pavilions and decorative details made of dolomite.
Currently, Loona Manor Guesthouse with its restaurant-cafe and Vilsandi National Park Visitor Centre are located in the manor.
