Apraksts

The parsonage has burnt down twice. The parson’s house which is still there, was designed in 1832 by the Kuressaare city architect Carl Lorenzen who has  also projected the Kuivastu inn.
The parsonage estate was small, owning only a couple of nearby villages and some haylands on small islets. It had to provide living for the parson’s family.  There is a four-meter diameter well and a fine park – the first planted park on the island of Muhu.
In the 20th century there were post-office, cinema and the doctor’s rooms in the house.
Nowadays the house is being renovated by local School of Heritage and the congregation of  Muhu St. Catharine’s Church.
